iStat menu lost my bluetooth

I've used iStat Pro for awhile now, but just installed iStat Menu yesterday. Today I've noticed that the Bluetooth icon on the menu (the original one, not iStat's) is greyed out and saying 'Bluetooth: Not Available'. In the System Preferences screen for iStat, the Bluetooth option is also greyed out, not even allowing me to select it (though this was not the case yesterday), and in Network Port Configurations Bluetooth is no longer an option. I've tried uninstalling iStat Menu but this does not solve the issue. Help!

Thanks,
TES

PS-I'm using a Powerbook G4 with OSX 10.4.11...

I had a problem when the Bluetooth shows Not Available, when I restarted it was active again.

Have you tried restarting?

Yes, a couple of times. No change, though.

Edit: Have you tried resetting your PRAM? Sounds like a hardware issue.
