hmm.

sysprefs cant turn istat ('menuectras wont load')

the uninstaller says core components cat be removed!

unsanity says that menuextras is incompatible with leopard!

the installer will not overwrite the previous installation!

so i am SOL: cant use or not un-use slayer stuff!

fyi: the slayer info in console logs are not very helpful.

machine has been restarted.

running 10.5.2

any ideas?

nope.

nothing fancy yet -- this is actually the install of leopard on the aux partition - so the purpose is not to have anything unnecessary ...

but also to have extras that make trouble-shooting easier (hence istat).

any other ideas?
