iStat Pro widget sometimes not appearing
Sometimes it's there, sometimes it isn't. When it isn't, and I click the plus sign down at the bottom left of Dashboard, all that shows is the X to close the widget (but no widget actually there which makes it look like a random X just floating).

When closed, the X disappears. If I try and put the widget back onto the main screen it will show the iStat Pro box as it loads, and once it has finished loading, it will disappear again.

It's weird though, because it will sometimes just work - as it is now, but a minute ago it wasn't. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi,
Could you open up console.app (/Applications/Utilities/) and see if there are any errors in console.log from iStat pro

having similar issues....
hi there,

i've been having similar problems to that experienced by pixen with my istat pro 'dissapearing' on me. It has only just started yest and really all i did was update my firefox. Can someone explain what is happening and how i can fix this problem. Thanks heaps...

Hi ttan,
Could you do the same process that i got pixen to do with Console. If your using 10.5 then the log you want is the one called "Console Messages"

My macbook has problem sleeping. Once and a while he just starts making noise at night. When I check the log the following morning there are only errors by istatpro (and mDNSResponder which I assume is called by istatpro). I'll copy paste the entire log (from the night) here, as you can see he woke up several times.

ps the reason I post this here is because the error on the console is thesame as the one the others are experiencing.
