polarising filter? or a UV filter? or are they the same ?....... I am not being rude but if you are asking this question, you are not ready to use filters........ but use UV or skylight filters to protect your len's as a start, Hoya, B&W, are good, and google is your friend........

Polarising filters keep light in one direction right? and UV just blocks out the UV....I just want a filter! Please reply in the other thread.
