MacTalk Photo Competition rules.

1. Theme of the competition is to be decided by the winner of the previous competition.

2. The timeframe for taking photos will be three weeks.

3. Photos must be taken within this three week period.

4. Only one submission per person may be entered.

5. Photos must stay within the theme of the competition.

6. Photos are to be uploaded to the specified gallery by the closing time on the last day of the competition. It is up to you to ensure that the correct photo is in the gallery at the time of closing.

7. No more submissions will be accepted after the closing time of the competition.

9. Voting will be in a 3-2-1 system, with a person's favourite photo gaining 3 points, second favourite 2 points, and so on.

10. Only one vote per user, and photographers may not vote for themselves.

11. In the event of a draw, the photo with the most amount of "3" votes will win.

oh gee, my current cameras are USELESS at night shots... I guess I am going to sit this one out, or if the FZ28 is released before competition's end, I'll see how I go. Or I could use my old Minolta SRT303b with a fast film

No need for a "low light" lens - a tripod and long exposure are all you will need....

Anyone who still ignores all the red text, the flashing lights, and the image in the opening post, and still puts their actual full name in the registration form will not have their account activated, so you will need to register again if you did this.

Huh? This years winners are:

Comp 1 : gilligan911
Comp 2 : Myself
Comp 3 : swoffa
Comp 4 : Myself
Comp 5 : Myself
Comp 6 : Goodbye

Goodbye does an excellent job of running these photo comps and he also has other things to do and we all owe him a beer for doing such a good job!

Also how could he rig it? Everyone on the forum here votes?

The question wasn't asked with malice, it was asked as a question...

I have tried to enter pics, but as yet my rego hasn't been activated, despite it meeting all the criteria etc...

Lot's of rules on how to enter etc too. Maybe I won't bother.
