Default MacTalk Podcast - Episode 74 - The One Where Peter Leaves Us

MacTalk Podcast - Episode 74 - The One Where Peter Leaves Us

Alex Reid (Al Aero), Christopher Kahler (arkenstone) and Anthony Agius (decryption) will really miss Peter Wells (fulltimecasual).

Yes, unfortunately, this is Peter's last episode of the MacTalk podcast. After being on every single episode of this show, it's time for him to pack up and explore the world. I met Pete off this site almost 2 years ago, after he purchased an iPod Nano off me and from then on, we have been friends - the podcast being the glue that brought us together week after week. He introduced me to Twitter and to Get This. Because of that, I forgive him for ruining my copy of Tony Martin's Lolly Scramble. We will miss his USB drive of fun, we'll miss his humming of some random TV show, movie, or TV ad jingle before the start of recording, and we will miss his reminiscing of Dreams Hosies strip club, but most of all, we will miss Pete. He still refuses to acknowledge that child we had out of wedlock, but that's ok. I love ya Little Petey. This podcast won't be the same without you dude.

Geez he's not dead is he?

So long Pete... the podcast will not be the same without your dulcet tones. Looking forward to hearing your last episode.

It was Hosies Strip Club!

Thanks Anthony, its been a hell of a lot of fun, and i'm glad i pestered you about doing a podcast in iChat for months on end! Seems to have turned out pretty well...

I really look forward to listening, not researching, future episodes!

I'm really quite scared of listening to this one...

Thanks Macca!

I really just need to 'log off' for a while. You know, maybe go for a walk, visit a museum, kinda real life Wikipedia browsing...

Once i'm refreshed, the Fulltimecasual podcast and the Name Already Taken podcast will be combined into a geek/movie/tv/apps/console games/internet crap show, under the Name Already Taken banner. FulltimeCasual will come back too as an interview and things that interest me show.. Thats the plan anyway..

I agree. I was almost in tears at the reactions. My wife was looking at me very strangely because I was out in the yard doing some cleaning while listening through my iphone, and laughing my arse off

You'll be missed Pete! I'm sure there can be some Skype hook-ups for future 'casts... right? Please say it's so!
