As title suggests, what do you use?
I like being organised so this is a must seeing as iMail "to do's" don't come through on the iPhone.

The more free the more better

HOLY CRAP may I just be the first one to say that I'm really, really, sick of waiting for what will probably be a 1.0 of The Hit List for iPhone.

1.0 as in unfinished, rushed crap. If it's not then I'll be surprised, but still not a fan of waiting...

All depends on your level of sophistication.

Top end are those GTD apps like Omnifocus and Things. Then there are plenty of other less sophisticated, "much of a muchness" to-do list apps.

I am enjoying Things at the moment. Seems to do the job pretty well for me

Edit: Should just mention that it isn't free though. From memory, it was about $12 or so…

Will have a looksee at the two you mentioned. Appreciate it!

Any that might sync with mac software? now that would be nice.

Read a positive review recently of Todo ($12.99, also has a free Lite version) which has push notifications coming soon and syncs with toodledo or RTM.

+ 1 for Appigo Todo... Nice and easy to read, customizable, can setup checklists and projects, annnnd what I love about it is it syncs with iCal's Todo list (over wifi)

Both OmniFocus and Things are sync'ed to Mac desktop apps. It's as powerful as you get and you certainly pay for an Omnifocus setup. Things is cheaper and some say it's good enough for heavy duty GTD use too.

Only wifi... ATM Apple doesn't allow third party devellopers to make use of the sync cable

Consider this: I sync my iPhone to iTunes on my iMac, but I sync Things from iPhone to MacBook. I would hate to plug a cable in to sync to the laptop. WiFi is great for this split-sync situation.

I'm another fan of ToDo. My life revolves around it. I don't sync and simply use it as standalone.

I actually don't use a todo app - what are the advantages of having a dedicated app vs iCal reminders?

I use Things on my Mac and iPhone. They sync together, and it's the best GTD app I've seen or used.

any of you reckon having GTD apps would help more compare to having MobileMe acc?

I'm still confused with the advantage of MobileMe at this point....any advice?

I really like Things on both platforms. As the database grows, the app got noticeably slower on the iPhone 3G but on the 3GS, it's a whiz. Upgrading to the 3GS has made me even more productive!

I'm doing similar - I use googlecal -> iCal = iPhone

Googlecal picks up changes on iPhone or iCal and transfers them. I can also go into GoogleCal and create alarms on their system that email me and send me SMS's to warn me at designated times.

GoogleCal also has Task List - and that's handy - free too.

I love Zenbe. Works well on the phone, can tick things off, multiple lists, web interface so I can have my shopping list updated remotely by the girlfriend - and it's free from memory!
