Grabbing the updated version.
Loved v1.0 but a couple of the proposed fixes and updates promised I have been hanging out for! aka ability open the app displaying the last city viewed (didn't end up in the update)... and swapping the locations of min and max temperatures. One out of two - plus the landscape / 7 Day option. Nice!

Hey all,
Just found this thread today. I'm one of the two developers who built Pocket Weather. Just thought I'd answer a few questions: - Where does the data come from? From the BOM, mainly from their FTP sources that they provide for developers like us. Why is it sometimes different from the site? The #1 reason is that it's normally a few minutes ahead of the actual website (when you're talking about current & apparent temp. V1.1 tells you exactly when the forecast & observations were issued by the BOM (in most cases, not all) so this should clear up a bit of confusion -Does it work over wifi? It should, feel free to post here or send us an email if you're having trouble. - Isn't this all available for free elsewhere? Of course, you can surf the BOM site (though not the radars that well), you can use the online OzWeather App and combine that with BOMRadar from the app store. We like our solution better, but you're free to do whatever you want, it's your $2.50 after all ![]() Any other questions anyone has? Just one other thing, if you haven't already entered our competition, I'd encourage you too...the prizes are not that awesome, but we'd like to see what you guys come up with: Competition |

Not so much a question, but a feature request, I hope I can explain it clearly
![]() When you open the app it goes to your list of your locations, then you select the location and it shows the details and forecast. It wold be great to have an option to set a location that opens the forecast screen when the app is open, as i mainly just look at the temp and forecast for my area. Also great to see a iPhone developer from little ol Adelaide

We didn't drop them, we moved them to the location list screen under 'National Radars' and added a Synoptic chart. It made more sense to have the national ones there and the ones for your location under location.

Which radar is it for? Have you tried switching to a different one, using the 'radars' button in the top right of the radar screen?
