Default Restoring backup to a pwned iPhone

Hi all,

I recently upgraded my v1 iPhone to FW2.0. The process was fairly painless (thanks Linux_insidev2 for the walk-thru) and it restored all my previous data - SMS/call history, photos, etc.

Yesterday I had to restore my iPhone (don't ask) and while the pwned restore went without a hitch my previous data wasn't uploaded.

Can I find this stuff anywhere and can I put it back on my phone?

TIA

Robbo

I'm unsure exactly myself. I believe however, if you kept the auto-enabled backing up setting in iTunes, it should have kept all of that data. However for this to be transferred back to your restored iPhone, when you set it up you have to select "Restore from backup" or someting to that effect instead of "set up as a new iphone". Something like that anyways.

Doh! I don't remember doing that ... I might try another reinstall tonight.

But ... can I put the iphone into DFU mode then install the pwned custome restore file from itunes? I'm sick of creating a new restore file in pwnage everytime i want to restore my iphone.

I might just leav eit and not f*** around with my iphone no more
