Default Unlocked iPhone question

Just wondering if once you unlock your iPhone and then enter say an Optus sim in the iPhone. If then you swap that sim for another Optus sim will the phone still operate. Or is it locked to the first sim entered?

Hope that makes sense.

  • If you have an Optus iPhone. Then you can insert and use as many Optus SIMs as you like. This includes Virgin.
  • If you have an unlocked Optus iPhone, then you can insert and use as many SIMs as you like, including Optus and Virgin.
  • If you have a non-Optus iPhone, then it is locked to that carrier, e.g. Telstra or Vodafone.
  • If you have an unlocked, non-Optus iPhone, then you can insert and use as many SIMs as you like, including <insert non-Optus telco here>. This includes Optus and Virgin.
Bottom line? Unlocked = unlocked.

Sorry for not searching, normally I rigourously search topics for answers, but it just come to my head and didn't even think of searching for it this time.

Thanks for the quick reply Huy!
