Hi everyone,
Well as my cleverly disguised subject indicates, I'm after some sort of USB mixer for my Powerbook.

I use my PB each weekend to do my radio shift, and I presently just use an Ediroll single output box, which I plug into the station's desk, but I want a multiple output mixing device, something like the Behringer BCD2000 except it's not available yet.

Any ideas?

firstly, whats your budget ? the BCD2000 is a DJ mixer, is that what your after ?

Well ok probably < $500 would be the budget and probably 2-3 channels, mic input, that sort of thing. It doesn't have to be a DJ mixer but the remote start buttons are helpful.

I recommend the Tascam US-428 (It's so good I have 2!) - not sure of it's price these days, but maybe the US-224 if there is a budget issue.

I've been using it with a Powerbook for years doing on-site recording without missing a trick
