Hi, I'm new to this forum, and thus sorry if this topic has already been dealt with elsewhere.

I have a G3 500 MHz Imac with one available USB port. I need to get a data stick but am new to Melbourne .. could someone please advise me of a decent retailer, or better still 2nd-hand dealer.

How much would I pay (approximately is OK) for say a 1 gig data stick? Can someone give me ideas on the capacities of these sticks, do they come in 256 M, 512 M etc., and how much approximately are these?

Any advice will be appreciated .. thanks

Daniel

Plenty of places to buy a 1gb USB Drive. You could also consider getting a 1gb iPod shuffle. As for second hand, try a pawn shop or ebay.

they are soo cheap that i would avoid second hand as if they have been miss treated they could be unreliable, a 128MB is about $30, 256MB about $50, 512MB about $75-90 and 1GB $120-200
