I ended up going with the D2 Extreme from Lacie, as it had FW800 for my powerbook. I definitely like the way the Lacie Mac Mini drive sits under the Mini...

I can see someone making a leaning tower arrangement with the Lacie drive, one of those Mac Mini hubs that are floating around, and maybe one of the similarly floaty acrylic-LED setups to light it all up...

I have a MacPower Igloo FW800 dual drive case hooked up by FW400 cable to my mac mini.

Working well. I been waiting for the macpower m9-dx/lx cases/hubs to come out. But its a long wait so far
