Hi.

I am having trouble syncing my Palm Tungsten|C PDA with my iMac G5 2.0GHz + Tiger (10.4.1). I have dowloaded and installed Palm Desktop for OS X. Plugged in the cradle and tried to sync. Nothing. Computer doesn't even seem to know that Tugsten is there. Seems to be a problem to do with the Tungsten as I can sync my wifes Palm m505 no problem. Stuck it in the cradle and it was detected straight away. Any suggestions on how to get the iMac to see my Tungsten PDA?

Thanks

Check what version of Palm Desktop you have. They came out with version 4.2.1 Rev B a couple of weeks ago which adds full Tiger support - it works like a charm with my old m130 and new T5.

Hope this helps.

Have you set up the Tungsten to Sync in the Palm software? Don't you have to create/add a profile for the Tungsten?

Thanks for the suggestions, unfortunately nothing has panned out. I downloaded and installed the RevB Plam Desktop software (it is fairly well hidden on theplamOne site!). Still recognises the m505 no problem and fails to see the Tungsten.
When you add user profiles the software looks for connected devices and as it refuses to see the Tungsten at all it won't add a profile.

Oh well looks like I will just have to sync with the PC at work
