Dear mac Users,
I have previously left a similar "new topic" before with little effective response so I hope someone is able to assist this time.
Presently my mother is confidently using a 233 imac with OS 10.3 and is happy with the set up except for the mouse and keyboard.
The mouse I have replaced it with a m/soft intelli mouse defaulted to click only (mum has hand tremors) but the keyboard ,standard issue narrow version which I agree is hopeless and hard to see (mums eye sight).
I need a USB connectable full size white keyboard which is mac happy as a replacement.
I have a G3400 B@W powermac that has a ADB white keyboard and original mouse (good as well) although this sounds a fine alternative unit it has no modem (dial up required).
The fittings are there but no modem in this configureation.
As the world seems to be heading towards Broadband I am having trouble sourcing a USB external dial up modem that is mac happy that I could use with the G3400.
Yes I could spend $$$ and purchase another whole set up but as the imac only cost $75.00(Aust) to install spending $150.00plus for another keyboard is madness.
Any helpfull suggestions are appreciated.
Regards
Michael
