Active Storage - Proper XServe RAID Replacement

Anyone seen Active Storage?

It seems a couple of people from the XServe RAID team at Apple left, started their own company and are continuing the legacy of the XServe RAID with a more Mac-like design and more Mac-like management.

Wow, they look really nice. How is this allowed? Because they aren't selling it with an OS, is this just like a little USB hard drive but a big bugger?
