Printer Suggestions Anyone?
Ok,
So the storms in Brisbane tonight killed my Printer/Scanner/Fax...
So, I'm heading out tomorrow to get something new.
My wishlist is colour, laser, printer, fax, scanner (with network scanning when connected to a time capsule would be awesome), flat bed copier option would be great too.
It's alot to ask, but does anyone know what I should be looking at buying. Price isn't really an option, but I'd prefer not to pay alot more than $500 if possible...
Any thoughts anyone??
Muchas gracias

Try Graysonline auctions. I bought a HP from there with warranty for a good price. Just check retail before bidding and add in freight and buyers premium as well to calculate the total cost.

I just purchased the HP Officejet Pro 7590. It is mega cheap to run, faster than a colour laser and the quality is brilliant!!! It has duplexing, flast bed scanner, fax, copier, reads various size cards etc. Absolutely BRILLIANT!! HP has a $100 cash back offer at the moment, but just check which stores have them. I got mine from Harvey Norman.
Cheers

I've got an Epson CX-11NF Multi-function Colour Laser Printer (ethernet to AEBS, also faxes). Scanning via their own app - Epson Scan, which allows scanning via network.
It's been a few years now - but mine's still working fine.
It's not the slimmest model around - it's rather chunky in fact.
Personally I'm looking to downsize (physically) but not lose any functions.

I got one of these too... wow... paid $299, get $100 back from HP... I looked at a similar spec colour laser, couldn't justify the extra $700!!
Plus it's got ethernet (which is how I use it) and it's lightening fast and can remote scan from anywhere...
Hardley Normal has bucket loads of them to go as well...

Well done Rasta
I went to a few places, but HN did have them available whereas a few others had to order in. I talked them down from $499 to $400 and then applied for the HP Cash back offer, so yeah, a good deal I reckon. I got the idea from some other MT members who told me they had one and were wrapped with them! well done and happy printing!

I was amazed...
Usually $499, catalogue price for $399, shop price for $299 (coz they brought a stack) and then $100 back..
$199 in total... no haggling... amazing prices!
