Wireless printing - Airport Express alternatives

So I was looking on fleaBay and there's a few cheap wireless printer servers. They are a fair bit cheaper than an Airport Express, even the 802.11b/g ones.

So my questions is, are there compatibility issues between them and OS X or will they work no problems?

Or are there other options apart from the Airport Express and these wireless printer servers?

Thanks!

I have a Canon Pixma iP5200R

Great printer, good quality, and the wireless works very well, it allows all the wireless security features, and has been awesome for me, for the last 2 years.

Sorry, should have specified that I already have a laser printer that I wanna wirelessly connect to a MacBook, an iBook and an iMac, so I don't wanna buy a wireless printer.

Airport Express, or Extreme? (though, dunno if there is a difference for this question - just for clarity)

Sorry, read that wrong.

I'd get an airport express, remember you can stream music from itunes to the express too. They'd be a few second hand ones around, sure someone here, has one lying around.

I have an Express. It works fine for me connecting a USB printer. And, as Madone said, you can stream music too. I found print servers to be unreliable, but that could just be me!

Well I don't need to stream music to the room where the printer is. I just need to enable wireless printing.

I know all the pros of the Airport Express... just seeing if there's a cheaper (workable) option out there for OS X.

Yep, well cheaper print-servers will work out of the box, but as I said, they tend to be a bit glitchy in my experience. A fair number of drop-outs and lost connections. I found I had to reconfigure them and reconnect them to my wireless network fairly regularly.

The best print server (but expensive) is probably the HP JetDirect range. I was looking at getting one, but decided that it'd be cheaper to just get a new printer with built in wireless.

Well, I guess I'll just get an AirPort Express then...
