Airport Express

All I can say is WOW!!
Hooked it up to our stereo though our wireless network and with Airtunes, can listen to all our iTunes libraries( Mac and PC) on our stereo. Hooked up the Ipod Touch as a Remote using the Free App, and away we go.
Anyway, after that ramble, my query is , is it necessary to turn off the Airport Express every time we stop using it( it is behind the Stereo and is a bitch to get too) or will it just go into a sleep like mode.
tried searching but get answers for everything but this.
Thanks

It's fine to leave running. I don't believe it has sleep mode though.

I leave mine switched on all the time, shameless destroying the planet through $2 of electricity every year.

I leave mine on all the time. But I've got the green light set to turn off when I don't need it. The light annoys me...

I would unplug mine (when I used it.. now it just sits there gathering dust as I use my TC)..

Mainly because it gets so bloody hot and coming home to a non-burnt to the ground house is preferable having to bend down and turn it on and wait 30 seconds until I can use it...

It may get hot... but it isn't going to burn the house down!! These devices are designed to be left on, its a router.
