2 lacie ethernet drives

hi - hoping someone can help me here.

i have a lacie mini 500mb drive and a LaCie 2big Network (2-disk RAID) drive.

i have them both working plugged into my modem. both drives work by connecting to the server with their IP number, but when i try to have them both runnign at the same time, it doesnt work.

what happens is when i have one drive mounted fine, i go to connect usiung the connect to server in the finder, put in the other IP address, and what i get is the options to mount the already mounted disks share's - not the other drive.

any ideas why this is happening? thanks so much,
AG

yes. different ips, but it brings up the same drive. i have found a workaround - by connecting via the network icon on a window - that brings up the workgroup icons...

I'm not familiar with the drives, but do they have NetBios name or something that they might be broadcasting that is the same by default? Could be lookups getting confused if this is the case..
