WD 320 gb essential edition

Hi

Can anyone confirm what HDD is used in these external cases-2.5 or 3.5?

I have read on MTAU and elseware that others have bought the case to nick the drive out of and using it in a MB or MBP
I have one sitting around doing nothing and my Macbooks drive is dead, looking at the case it appears to big to be a 2.5.

So before I pull apart a perfectly good ext HD can anyone confirm?

Thanks

Dan

Apparantly they are sata, the drive is still in the case, so I cant measure or see it, its only a couple of weeks old, and the case is going to cop some damage to get it apart.

I only bought it as it was on special for 90 bucks, and now the MB has a dead HD it seem's like a good idea.
There was a thread on MTAU that others have done it (cant find it now)
