I'm using EyeTv and thinking of getting Toast Titanium as they seem to work together. Can anyone who's using it tell me what format the 'backup' to Toast is? Does it create a DVD which can be played on a DVD player, or is it just a file level backup of the EyeTV file/package?

Any other info or advice on Toast/EyeTv appreciated, thanks.

When you select toast as the export option from eyetv, it will pop a video_ts file for toast to burn to a dvd, that will play on dvd players.

I have used this, but not much recently - but it does work seamlessly.

Using eyetv 2 and toast 8.

Alternatively, you can just use visualhub.
