Displaying iMac with Boot Camp on external TV screen
I have a new 50" plasma TV and thought it would be great to play my computer games I have running on XP via Boot Camp. I have a 20" Intel iMac (Leopard) connected to the TV with a Mini DVI to RCA Video adapter.

When I boot up in OSX everything displays fine as it should. When I boot up in XP the display is in black and white and extremely fuzzy. I have tried various resolutions some are worse than others, some cause the screen to cut out completely.

I have downloaded the latest drivers and Catalyst control centre from here and gone through the multi display settings. The screen looks the same.

Has anyone had any luck with displaying XP on an external Monitor/TV with Boot Camp? Any suggestions? Thanks!

This post might help -- it pretty much explains that (and how) you need to "turn on" the external monitor. Hope it helps.

I have read a lot of threads similar to that you gave but all refer to the MBP, I can't find anything about the iMac. It seems the settings tabs are different. I have experimented with other drivers and now I get a black screen in Boot Camp... If only it worked as easy as OSX!
