Recommend me a multi-function

hi guys.

i need a new multi-function printer for my mum (who has no clue). We have a brother, and whilst i cant fault it, we didnt choose it so i dont know what else is out there. I dont mind whether it is inkjet or laser.

It needs to have good colour printing of home photos, scanner and fax. And in the vacinity of $300-$400.

Any suggestions.

Thanks

I've got a brother MFC-3240C which is pretty good at doing what it needs to do..

+1 for brother.

The scan quality is great.

I have a MFC-425CN and it's lasted me for quite a while.

Canon MP830 here and very happy with it!

Duplex printing, copying and scanning too!

Another vote for Brother. Easy to set up and use. Very reliable, at least mine (a MFC 425CN) has been.

Go for Brother. Plus their support is here in aust, always helpful to speak to an aussie when you need support.

Epson are good but have no fax offerings.
