syncing Nokia E65

My Nokia no longer syncs with iSync. And buggered if I can figure out why. Have tried a few things but always get the error message right at the end of syncing saying that
"Synchronisation has failed".

I'm tempted to go down the re-formatting path. I reckon it corrupted during a syncing. Maybe as I was reaching full on the phone memory. (Which I have since fixed and moved it all onto the card memory).

Has anybody done this with success? What do you loose? Is setting up the phone hard or do you just turn it on and away you go again? Do I remove the memory card before?

mate iv done the same a couple of times with my e65. nokia is a cow of an operating system.

1) On the Phone go menu>tools>memory>options>backup phone memory.
2) then go menu>messages>options>settings>other>memory in use>select your memory card and let it move them
3) after that take the card out. restart the phone and format.
4) then restore everything

Thanks for your help... thats awesome.. I'll give it a go.

Did you do this method for reformatting?

To reset and wipe the whole memory of a Nokia E65 use this key sequence: *#7370# . You will be asked to enter the phone lock code. Contrary to the method used for the Nokia E61 holding down the “green” key, 3 and * while booting wont succeed in resetting the phone.

ahhh... didn't work.

It 'reset' but the problem with sync still remains.
I know there is a firmware update, but a Nokia only has one for PCs not mac I gotta find a PC to use.

Not sure that will do it though. I mean it has worked, so WTF?

Yeah tried it on my Macbook pro.
