Hi All,
I am after a second internal hard drive for my Dual 2GHz G5, 100GB to 150GB.
Can anybody recommend a good brand (or a brand to steer clear of) and a good supplier?
It will be mainly used for photoshop work so needs to be as fast a possible.
Thanks
Rocket

If you want a fast hard drive as possible, I'd recommend the Western Digital Raptor series of drives. They're only 74GB, but are super fast, because they spin at 10,000RPM as opposed to the 7200RPM otherwise.
If you want a larger drive, get something with 8MB of cache, as they're a bit faster than those with 2MB. Seagate are a good brand I've found

I'll vouch for Seagate as well - though Western Digital are a high quality brand as well as long as you go for a JB or better.

seagates get my vote for your G5 - they are quieter than the maxtors i use (in a PC, they are cheaper for me, and well only add to the noise). always have good luck with em.

Thanks everybody.
Once again, a majority rule applies and I pickup a Seagate 200GB 7200.8 this afternoon.
Regards
Rocket
