Gday All,

Just wondering if anyone else is having problems with thier iSight...

Sometime when I fire up iMovie and use the iSight to record video, the rig will stop recording video but keep recording audio.

You can tell when the video has stopped recording because the video view pane will freeze and when you try and playback the clip it will stop at the same time as the recording preview stopped.

This is happening at seemingly random times in the recording process.

Anyone had any simular problems ?

Sorry for the late reply. I have had an iSight now for about 4 months and had no such problem. I am using iMovie 05 which one are you using. Shouldn't make any difference I know but <_< .

I also have an iSight an have not noticed any problems at all with it. I've tried doing what you did with recording and so far with more than a couple of hours running still no problems. Have you run the latest 10.3.9 update? I have put it off and am still at 10.3.8...

Well I have trawled Apple Discussions and found a few other people have the same problem. i cant find any commomality yet but still searching. Also found that quicktime 7 pro should be able to capture from the iSight..

There are a few other apps that already can, I'll post a few links later on tonight
