Can't install hp printer
I have just upgraded my ibook to leopard doing a clean install.
My HP printer software won't load now. I have a version for 10.4 but it seems Hp haven't released a 10.5 version yet.
I have an HP 3100 printer/scanner and it means I can't use the scanning function at all.
Does anyone have any ideas how to get it up and running again. Surely HP must be able to get some drivers working for leopard by now. My printer is only 6 months old, hope someone has some ideas.

What's the exact name of the printer? (ie HP Photosmart 3110)

Then I can try and track down an answer for you.

Try these: http://www.linux-foundation.org/en/O...g/MacOSX/hpijs. They got two Photosmarts on the list.
EDIT: Try getting the latest version of the HP official drivers.

OK there is a new driver with 10.5.x support here:

Can you guys help me?
I've just changed over to the good side
I'm still running windows XP, via a network with MY NEW MAC and am trying to use my HP Photosmart 7450 printer.
This printer works well on the old PC, but after downloading HP_Installer_PS7450_v9.7.dmg (some 57mb) the printer does SFA on the mac and actually closes Opera browser, if try and print something.
Any ideas appreciated.
