I am looking forward to the new AppleTV software take 2 to be released soon.
I wonder if someone will take that and make it a standalone to replace the frontrow in 10.5.x. It will be great to be able to run it as an upgrade to frontrow given the additional features built into it.

I thought you could not purchase Apple products from Amazon and ship them overseas? - Just wondering if you went via another channel or you found a loop-hole.
Love my Apple TV. Has made us digitize almost everything and looking at one for another room but waiting for price drop.

the take 2 interface is awful. I mean its really placeholder material. I was shocked at how un apple the interace looks now.
Serioulsy what are apple doing with the product. There goingto fail a second time becasue there is no optical drive and its lack of format support is crippling.

I can't tell if this is a fake post. I'm guessing it is.

How long will it be before we all ask "what's an optical drive?"

If Remote Disc could be made to work on the Apple TV, then we'd have a pretty viable little low end Mac!
