Airport Extreme & WD My Book 2TB

Hi guys,

Just bought a 2TB WD My Book and have it connected to my AEBS via USB but this is all I get:

When I connect a much smaller drive or my USB thumb drive I see the drive then the volume underneath and then can also access it as a shared drive in the Finder. The drive is set up for RAID 0 and is formatted as HSF+. It works fine plugged into my MacBook Pro using USB or FireWire. I've got a USB printer that works fine in it (have taken it out to plug in the drive).

I've got the latest firmware from WD for the drive. I've tried 7.2.1 and 7.1.1 on the AEBS.

Any thoughts?

The 2TB drive needs the MyBook driver installed to work in 2TB mode. Plug it into your Mac and you'll see. Wish I knew about that before I bought it

When I plug it into my Mac it pops up straight away as a drive with 1.82TB free and works fine. What do you mean by MyBook driver?

You didn't install anything on your Mac to get it to work? I did...
