Securing WiFi Connection

How do I secure the WiFi connection so I do not have intrusions?

Wish to leave it open 4 everyone but have only 2gb monthly so cannot allow others to get in...

There are few choices under network configuration like WEP Password, LEAP, WPA and under each one there are more.. so no idea where to head!

Turn on WPA, use a strong key and you're golden. Don't bother with WEP or MAC Address Filtering.

WPA must be enabled on the wireless router. Once it is enabled all the wireless computers on the network will be prompted to enter the WPA key. This website generates strong, random strings.
