Delete Computer to Computer Network

Howdy - I'm looking for a little help.

I have a Airport Express networked for the internet, with three home computers able to be connected through it.

With nothing else to do this afternoon, I thought I would click on the "create network..." tab of the Airport icon, which it did (create a computer to computer network).

I now want to get rid of this network, but I cannot see anywhere I can delete it - it shows it as a network option when I click on the Airport icon, and the other two computers can still see it / connect to it - I would like it gone!!

Any ideas would be appreciated - I have a iBook running 10.3.9.

Any help is appreciated!!

Cheers,

Dave.

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for: in a new Finder window, you should see your network in the sidebar. Beside it should be the Eject button. Use that.

I would think that for computer to computer networking, you would need to have Sharing turned on. From memory, the computer to computer network will close if you turn Sharing off.

Try turning Airport off on the computer that has created the network? And when you turn it back on try to connect the iBook to another network later.

Open Network preferences and then click advanced. Under the Airport tab should be a list of preferred networks. You can remove the unwanted network using the "-" button.
