oh bugger...dell has changed their monitors

Of course, if I acted when I wanted too I would have a matching monitor.

I've got a Dell 24" monitor (2407 I think) last year.
I am looking at a second matching one for my edit suite. And they now don't exist except for the cheaper version which is no good for the graphics and video stuff I do.

DOH!!!!!!!

I have to look at the 27".

So its either matched look but cheap poorer screen Dell E248WFP

Or

Quality and HUGE unmatched screen setup. I really don't need 27 next to a 24.

Lesson: he who hesitates is lost.

And is mac about to change theirs? They are a bit buried in the website now? mmm...

I have the 2407 as well. In hindsight I should have held off and gone the 27" in sale.

Apple are due for a screen update methinks...maybe HDMI

Hmm, they have a new 30" with a billion inputs!

With Analogue, DVI-D (HDCP), S-Video, Composite, Component, HDMI, DisplayPort

Don't I feel silly with my DVI-D only monitor.

Now, if you'd actually bought Apple monitors in the first place you wouldn't have this problem

If that was the case he'd be bankrupt because the apple displays cost so much more than the competition.

No doubt they look the business. Just are not good for business.

But maybe apple might look at lowering their prices again on some new updated monitors.
I love their design but the cost is ridiculous.

I am looking to mount my two monitors on some VESA mounts like these

http://www.atdec.com/Content_Common/...cus-Double.seo

But to do that with a mac monitor you have still purchase the mounting kit after forking out for some pricey screens.
bugger that.

The new 2408WFP's will be coming out soon too, if you want DisplayPort and the new design.

They are out now!
110% colour gamut and display port for $999
In the small business section it shows $999 but once you click it, the price is $799 with bonus headphones.
