Something to group the desktop cables?

I have a simple looking desktop with a big LCD display, Mac mini and an Xbox 360. Now that elegance is all lost when you see the cables. Is there anything to group up the cables?
Here's a picture:

You can buy velcro strips in rolls, just use that. It's what i used in my previous IT job for grouping/tidying up cables. Works a treat too! Plus you have the bonus of easily undoing and doing up as many times as you need!

KMart used to have the most basic and fantastic cable tubes, but I can't find them any more. Cable ties are easiest. I tend to pull out my desk from the wall and start the wiring from scratch every so often. Streetwise also sell a cable organiser thing that you bolt under your desk that sorts out a lot.

Velcro wrap I think it overpriced for what it is. I save the twist ties that come with new cables and such and recylce them when need be. Just don't let anyone convince you to use zipties like I've seen done at more than a few sites!

"Loom" is pretty good too, you can do it yourself with an old vacuum cleaner hose - cut a slit down the tube, push all your cables in there. Results in a nice clean job.

Handy hints here we come

Old telephone handset cords are handy to twist around several cords and keep them neat.
