Tossing up between either buying a 250 plus or DIversity.
- I like that the 250 is powered rather than running off USB (heating up)?
- Obviously you get a lot more capabilities w/ 250
- I would rather run from a set top box or cable so the two antennas supplied w/ Diversity doesn't really worry me.
I have read the Mactalk review of the Diversity and it looks great.
I've also checked the product comparison >
http://www.elgato.com/matrix/index.php
- I'm hoping the 250 will be better quality.
- Price wise they are quite close w/ 250 being a bit more.
- Its cool I can hook up a game console to the 250 (anyone done this ?)
- Comes bundled with a basic version of toast
Im using a IMac Extreme 2.8 Ghz running Leopard. (anyone got any performance problems w/ the 250 and Leopard?)
Has anyone heard of any rumors on any new Elgato products coming soon?
I was a little concerned as the 250 is a year or so old now.
Any opinions or feedback would be greatly appreciated......
