NAS Boxes and other external storage
Hey guys,

Looking to buy a Mac Mini to replace my old crappy dell box. ATM I use it primarily for file storage and want to move the current (SATA) drives into an external enclosure.
I've been looking around at a few NAS enclosures like thenetgear ones and the D-LINK solution.

Has anyone had any experience using these? Are they any good? or should I just be getting external USB bays and plugging them up to a mac directly?

unfortunately the Netgear and D-link boxes are crap. The netgear one doesn't work well with macs.

To be honest, you might as well keep the dell box, it will probably make a good headless server.
