I have been scanning forums for a while now and have come across some results for my topic but nothing I can pin down. I would love for someone to give me a positive identification on a model number and brand of an external DVD burner that works with a G3 ibook. Maybe someone out there has had an experience!

Just make sure the case doesn't have a Prolific PL3507 chipset. They're dodgy and they're everywhere.

You will probably need to use Patchburn to make the DVR-109 work with the Finder and iApps, but it's still an excellent choice.
