two connectors, mini-dvi > dvi & dvi > hdmi.

I can see this changing in future but that's what you've got.

I think a better question is, what would be better - going directly from computer into a DVI socket if your flat-screen telly has one, or using the HDMI link-up suggested by Mickey D above??

After a quick google it looks like what Mikey said is whats being recommended in all the forums.
Bit of a worry a cable hasn't been developed yet (unless its not possible?).

Anyone remember the audio? The Mac mini doesn't output audio through DVI, so you need external speakers.

I think you will have to out the audio to a separate set of speakers or amp. I have an old G4 laptop with a DVI to HDMI cable going to the back of my plasma then the audio has to run out to an amplifier running some speakers. Don't see any reason why this would not work for you though - should be fine. My cable is actually just a DVI to DVI but I bought a small HDMI adapter plug which sits on the end on it for about $20 bucks at Office Works.
