compress to fit disc

Using eyeTV i just recorded a show for a mate, it was 6.1 GIG, how do i compress this and make it fit on One disc for him?

I know its "Not 1 disc" but you could use something like "Explicit" and split the disc in 2

If you have the latest versions of both EyeTV and Toast there is an export to Toast button on EyeTV. If not then File>export (as per Marc) then drag that file into Toast.

From Toast, select DVD-Video and burn!

Handbrake

edit: or export then hanbrake it.....I don't have eyetv but from what I read I'm not sure handbrake can read eyetv files directly...it should be able to read anythibng you can export it to though.
