As long as you understand the basics - which fingers look after which keys etc - then as long as you keep using them in whatever work you are doing on the computer, you'll slowly get there as a touch typer...
I had 3-4 terms of "keyboard" classes when I was in high school - cos they were bludge classes

but learned to type at around 90wpm, faster if I actually stop thinking about it.
Oh, and... SO JEALOUS! The new keyboards do look cool.... I know I wont be seeing one in my home any time soon tho.
