There is a full page ad in the Sun Herald today with the details, the website should be updated on 22 June.

This sounds pretty cool. I mean, fuck the 3GS, and in any case, the 32GB will be on outrageous plans.. guess we'll have to find out tomorrow! What do you guys make of it?

Even better than the $45 Virgin one. Looks like a few good plans should be rising to the surface now that the 16gb 3g is going to be superseded.

i went to an optus store and they told me the same thing, 16G iphone 3G free on $59 plan, offer is only valid between 22 - 25 June.

i don't know why some people think this is a good deal, 16G 3GS will be free on the same plan from 26th June.

The 8GB wasn't last time, and the 3GS will undoubtedly be more expensive due to currency etc. What makes you think it will be free this time?

The 'leaked Optus pricing' also said unlimited data tethering for $50 a month. We have tethering plans already and that's not one of them.

The pricing was fake.
