Question How to ignore an app update?

I had a notification to update my previous iSudoku light app to the latest version (iSudoku Light).

I did and realised that it didn't have a generator like the previous app and had to restore the previous app to my iPhone.

Now, there's forever a "1 update" in my iTunes. How do I get rid of this notification and from downloading the new app accidently when other apps are also updated?

I guess I can't use the "Update All" button anymore and have to individually select the updated apps to download from iTunes.

Not sure there is a way around this.

No idea.

Same thing happened with me for ages when Twitterfon decided to include ads in its free version. I refused to update 'til I eventually got sick of not being able to use the 'update all' button, and started using a different Twitter app.

It's pretty annoying. I'd love to know a way to stop it from being included in the update list, too.
