They better get their offers out quick smart or else I'll be going elsewhere, my contract on three with another phone is up at the moment so if they have a good offer going I might just stay with them.

Does anyone have any idea just how the performance of their network is with an iPhone?

Oh man. Now I don't know what to do! Get it launch day from Optus (same deal I had last year) or wait for Three to cough up details on when exactly they'll have it.... Hrmmm, decisions, decisions.

I've had my iphone on 3 for a year and I'm VERY happy (especially compared to colleagues suffering on Optus!) Fast and reliable where the metro network exists..

I'm on the isim plan, no contract $49 per month for $350 calls/sms and 1 GB of data included free every month! Unbeatable value...

Just be prepared not to use data in country areas or you have to pay Telstra roaming charges 50c/MB. Personally I use the free roaming onto Telstra network for voice/sms in rural areas as that's what I want to do when in the country, while my mates on Optus walk around with 'no service'.

Hoping with 3 now getting the iphone they will have even sweater deals although hard to better the one I'm on now...

Speed and performance is excellent (Brisbane). I jumped out of Optus 49 cap to Three iSim4 with 1Gig of data a month. I have been thrashing, tethering, downloading and youtubeing..I still have 700 Mb left and two days to chew it up before I start the next months cycle

I've been off-contract with 3 since February, waiting for the 32Gb iPhone (knew it would arrive eventually).

I'm right on the edge of 3 coverage. Vodafone seems to have stronger coverage where I am (based on wandering around my house with a Voda SIM in my k800i).

Wife and son's phones are on 3, as is my USB 3G modem.

Might have to wait for plans to make a decision.

I noticed this morning at 9Am that www.three.com.au/iphone (old iphone plans) was pulled down.
