Can someone who has run todays upgrade and is with Telstra please confirm the tethering status. I have it all working with GM3.0 and tempted to leave it that way until Telstra have a official release of settings.

You'll need to apply one of the tethering hacks to use tethering with Telstra at this point in time. Check out this thread...

Enable Tethering for Noobs

I have a similar problem.

I can send an MMS and it is received no worries.

However, I can't receive MMS, I get a message which says
"part of the content of this multimedia message (msg-tmp.jpg) could not be delivered".

Cheers, Jack

I think what you guys need to do it hit up help.benm.at - that seemed to enable and configure MMS + Tethering for me. Only tethering worked before I did the help thingo, and now both tethering + MMS work

Default TELSTRA MMS and TETHERING

I oddly had a good experience with a telstra employee at 0620 this morning. The magic number to ring is 1800 474 663 this is a direct iPhone hotline. They will update the settings on your phone so that mms works. I was also told that telstra will not support tethering (that is technical support)but if you work out how to do it your standard data rate applies as if you were browsing on you phone. We pay through the nose anyway. I was also told there was a technical issue in 3.0 where messages cannot be seen. I'm guessing this is a format issue and was told it would be fixed ASAP.

So wait let me get this straight. It is a technical issue that I cannot see mms that is sent to me?

Would you be able to post up the mms settings you used to get it 100% working? Cheers

Thanks Kjoy,

My MMS Proxy was 010.001.001.180.80
I have changed it to 010.001.001.181.80 but haven't tested it yet, I will have to wait for the wife to get home to send me an MMS

I got tethering to work via iPhone 3.0 Tethering for Telstra Customers which Adynz posted earlier.

Cheers, Jack.

Mine is also 180 instead of 181, and MMS works for me.

Will this send an MMS back to me?
I tried MMS last night before changing to the settings you recommended.
I could send an MMS which was received fine on a Palm Treo 750 but I could not receive an MMs (all I got was an error message).
