Default Help with 2.2 Download!!

I downloaded the 2.2 firmware for the iPhone 3G and I get error 1403, and I don't know if it's completely downloaded or not.. Does anyone know the checksum so I can check if it is complete or not?..

Thanks

Anyone know where the downloaded firmware sits? As I would love to copy the file over to another iTunes on another computer to save downloading it again.

It is located in:
~/Library/iTunes/iPhone Software Updates/iPhone1,2_2.2_5G77_Restore.ipsw

Or just do a search on your computer for the file.. Can you get the checksum please? (from above)

This is what I got:
iPhone1,2_2.2_5G77_Restore.ipsw = fd33b6f92a6b5bc3dd0fa40b39a40c0c

Which seems to be right.

The others, taken from the web:

Just a simple test (although not authoritative):
Grab the ipsw and make a copy of it.
Rename the copy to a .zip and see if it extracts. If it extracts, it's good. If not, it's bad.

Redownload ipsw if corrupt and try to get it in 1 hit without pausing/disconnecting from the net.

My download manager says it's corrupt and need to start again :-( I only download at about 40kb/s so it'll take me a couple hours or so..

The 2G file is fine though...

Go to the Apple Store and take a laptop with you. You can do that in under a few hours.

They close at 6PM today.
