Yes I know this mentions the iPhone, and that there is already another thread bout their Q3 results, but after reading the Daring Fireball piece I'm still astounded that in 15 months Apple has overtaken Sony-Ericsson in sales by revenue for mobile handsets!

Who would have thought.....!

The rest of the article is pretty interesting as well - actually most of what Gruber writes (or links to) is entertaining if not interesting!!

And they're not all that far away from Samsung in second place.

Bare in mind that this is in revenue and not units sold. I would also imagine that it wouldn't include revenue from the app store, which is another cherry on top of the cake.
