Default New Telstra iPhone Resources

Just checking out the iPhone page on the Telstra site (http://www.telstra.com/iphone ) today, and noticed some new links 'n stuff.

- They've released Business Plans for the iPhone, avaliable at Apple iPhone 3G - Business Pricing - Telstra
I quite like the fact that you can get 300MB for $29, or you can pay an extra $30 to get 100MB less.
Oh yes, and the business plans dont include the free WiFi access either =/

- The 'Telstra Gadget Guru' has released a review found at http://www.nowwearetalking.com.au/bl...herefore-i-am- (not a lot that most of you wouldnt already know)

- And finally they have some discussions on the iPhone on their forums, found at http://www.nowwearetalking.com.au/di...stra-iphone-3g

This is the plan I discussed with Telstra on Friday. The catch is that you have to have your landline with Telstra (I don't, in fact I have nothing with Telstra).

Another thing to watch is call costs, which can be 28c per 30secs. With my telco I am paying 15c per 30secs, calculated by the second - not 30 seconds like Telstra, and only 15c flagfall.

Also, the Business Plan does not give free WiFi hotspot access, not that there are many in Tasmania, just airports, MacDonalds (I wouldn't eat there) and Starbucks - which are closing down in Tas.

I also found that if you buy the iPhone outright you don't get free hotspot access.

I really wish choosing a mobile plan was not so complicated.

Another thing I discovered today, buying the iphone - there can be as much as $300 difference in price between Apple stores on the 16gb model.
