I have to agree with nils.

I think you folks need to search the threads for those people alreadying noticing that Optus3G doesnt work in any of the big cities - so just imagine the country area.

the main reason - only telstra 3G Works on the frequency that the Iphone recgonises.

Good luck to all these Optus Folks - becuase they are going to get pissed - when they cant get Optus 3g on the iphone.

Search for the thread - and read up - what has already been said folks.

I live on the Mornington Peninsula, and the only 3G blackspots I have are the same as ones that Telstra had, so I am happy...far from pissed.

I don't live in a 3G area...so it doesn't really bother me until I move back north...I'll be wifi-ing it until then and a very rare GPRS (only if I really really need to read something on Mactalk )

hehe, I'd rather take Optus and suffer the dial up speeds in the rare chance I might be in the country (once every year or two?) than have to pay Telstra's ridiculous data allowance for 24 months .
