Default Virgin SIM Working in Optus Locked Handset?

As per the title gents, are your Virgin sims working in your Optus handsets?

thanks for that! just what i wanted to hear

i bought my iphone outright from telstra
i plan to unlock to optus and sign up with virgin on their $65 cap with 1gb of data for $15

How much outright? for 8GB?

i've got a staff member at Tlife member looking after my unlocking process - very helpful chap

Telstra at Morley (WA) would not sell the phones outright. They were very insistent - no plan no phone!

My old Virgin sim -- waiting for it to port over -- works fine in the iPhone.

Hmm, my (still waiting for Optus to port) Virgin sim, doesn't work. The iPhone asks to be plugged into iTunes and then an error message pops up as it tries to connect to the iTunes Store.

optus did not have 16g iphone on pre-paid to sell outright.. and where did you go to get your telstra iphone?
