Add http://swirlyspace.com/SwirlySpace.xml to your installer sources, and yes, its case sensitive so dont forget to capitalise as shown.

Anyone else finding this to be a great consumer of battery once you start using it? ie, does it have a background daemon running all the time? I have had to uninstall, it ate half my battery before morning tea on Friday.

could possibly be because it unnecessary uses edge as soon as u open it ... try to run google maps, this will also probably have a similar effect, i don't use it that much, more interested in getting it all working, which it all works sweet now, just needs some tweaks ...
battery on the iPhone is shocking enough, i just tend to recharge it every night, so doesn't bother me

Seems to be okay now, whatever it was before is no longer affecting it and alls well. Having said that, I'll now say this... over it, and deleted

If I actually used MMS I'd wonder where it was, but I haven't sent a picture message in years (since the initial "oh, this is cool" wore off). Same goes for video calls on 3G - don't miss them either.

My battery life has been fantastic on the iPhone - after a day of 10-20 phone calls (it's my personal not business phone), listening to podcasts & music, reading newsgator, watching videos (during lunch normally) and google searching, my iPhone is still 2/3rds or greater battery power.

Regards,
Shane.

Yes, I'm really curious as to how long the battery will last for me.
Fingers crossed when I get mine this week I'll be lucky and have a perfectly working battery that isn't like the reports I've read of it only lasting a day

It really does depend on how you use it. Lots of web browsing uses the battery up as u might expect given the graphical nature of web pages (so IM with Meebo or Beejive is more battery intensive than MobileChat for example).

wifi on, chews battery, bluetooth on, uses extra battery, any thing making it constantly read the hdd will use battery (aka mp3's) ... a brighter screen will use more battery ...
many variables

I received my first MMS using this version. Battery life was dramatically reduced in the hours after receive.

Have removed swirly mms from my iPhone and battery life is back to normal. It was fine with SwirlyMMS until I received the mms.

For those who still have Swirly MMS on the phone, has anyone else had a message turn up at the other end with a blank photo? Tried it first time today and the MMS Message at the other end came up with a place holder like you get when a pic is missing from a web page.
